The Virtual XTC Story

My real name is Michael and im from Queensland, Australia. My DJ name is Virtual XTC. I DJ hardcore and my mixes are played on Digitally Imported / happyhardcore.com radio. My main styles of hardcore are happy hardcore / uk hardcore / freeform & occasionally gabber. My love for electronic music started from a young age listening to those old 90's dance hits. I have been climbing the electronic music ladder ever since listening to house then trance then hard trance. One day after getting my hands on a copy of bonkers i just fell in love with that hardcore sound. Ever since then hardcore has been the only music for me and always will be.

First off i started mixing with dj programs to get a feel for mixing. Everything i learned about mixing came from sheer determination and hours of practice. Once I was comfortable I decided to get my first set of decks. I prefer cdjs over vinyl and pc because i think you can do a lot more with them.

The name Virtual XTC has no real significance to me except that it sounds cool. The name pretty much came to me when i was giving my brain a serving of knowledge during a visit to wikipedia. I some how found myself reading about virtual reality when Virtual XTC came to mind.

I first teamed up with DJ Leto half way through 2007 and the Global Hardcore Alliance was born.

During the year 2007 I studied "Diploma of Multimedia." My chosen field in multimedia is web design. I hope to deisgn sites for clients all over the world. If you need a website don't hesitate to get in contact with me. Just remember no one works for free.
